not the end
"I will never say goodbye with the intention of its meaning that i feel it has inherited. Saying goodbye is like saying that that will be the last time you see someone. So why on this dying earth would you say that to someone that you have every intention of seeing again. Blows my mind to hear that now, after pondering it for many weeks of course. This end that you speak of when your greeting your fellow man good day, is more of a beginning. Its the beginning of a time spent away from each other. Time to Nurture your love for the other person. Time to, grow. In a sense. So after being perplexed, and much consideration, I have come to the conclusion that. I will never say goodbye till the day i die, because this is not the end, i will see you again."{7.9.10}

"A human being is a part of a whole. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty"
-Albert Einstein

Interesting cuz you know my hubby never says Good Bye either. He says "see you later", "later" or "have a good one". It's a simple change but I think it's a sweet one in meaning!
