we are a soul wrapped in memories. Every neuron, every cell, clinging to a million beautiful pieces of your past. The nerves in your lips, your words first spoken; in your finger tips, your mothers firm grasp; in your feet, the memory of each and every little step. The fragile makeup of a world we call skin. Skin is the eternal reminder of the unbreakable bond forged between you and every other human being on the face of the earth. It is the proof of a species, the mark of individual thought, of passion, of choice. It is being human. The pure, naked, truth of human nature flows like lead through your veins, and you are free. Free to be you. Free to be who you were, who you always remembered yourself being, and who you always will be. When we take away the clothes, and material possessions, and we wipe away our masks, what you find underneath is the freedom of being exactly like everyone else. There is no rich, no poor, no power, no poverty. We are the same flesh covered souls longing for a purpose, struggling to find use of our seemingly meaningless thoughts and actions and fighting to be accepted. There is no mask, there is only flesh. The constant reminder of our untimely sin. We are forever branded to His hand, leading our lives one step at a time, flesh to flesh, neuron to neuron, soul to soul, memory to memory.
the human memory.

"A human being is a part of a whole. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty"
-Albert Einstein
