beating
seeing
bleeding.
Breathing
feeling
behaving
being.
The things that make us human.
Our anatomy- a design so immaculate, so perfected, so biologically flawless, that we have yet to fully comprehend it. The heart, powerful and invincible, pumping gallons and gallons of blood throughout our body in a fraction of a second. The invincibility. Our brain, an organ so genuinely perplexing we can't even fathom it's deepest mysteries. Oh, the beauty in the breakdown... Piece by piece. The divine make-up of the human body.
So how does a species so advance, so capable, develope such profound ignorance. Our behavior, completely contradictory to our design. It seems every step closer we get to solving another piece of the puzzle, we find ourselves growing more and more immuned to certainty. This knowledge corrupts all curiosity and deprives man of his natural desire to find what it is he wants most. He wants to be known, he wants to be real. He fights for his soul, he fights and he feels. He lives and he dies, but there's no truth to his lies. We're not really alive. We're just obliged, it's in our blood. A predestined suicide. And the human within you wants to live, but what happens when time simply stops-
the last beat,
it's coming.
So now's the time-
to be alive.
